Who We Are​

Founded in 2018 by sisters-in-law and mothers Jen Sagert and Kiani Pegg, Laule’a Makai began as a shared vision to provide top-tier housekeeping for luxury vacation rentals.

Kiani Pegg was born and raised in Hawaii and is a proud mother to a beautiful daughter. Married to her wonderful husband since 2009, Kiani has a deep connection to her community and the islands. Her local knowledge, love for hospitality, and commitment to excellence guide every service she provides, ensuring each home and property is cared for with attention and integrity.

Jen Sagert is a mother of two sons and has been married since 2007. Originally from California, she first visited Hawaii as a teenager and instantly fell in love with both the Big Island and her future husband Kiani’s brother, eventually moving here in 2005. A dedicated soccer mom, Jen brings her passion for organization, hospitality, and detail-oriented service to every property she cares for.

Since its founding, Laule’a Makai has grown into a trusted name along the Kohala Coast. Today, we deliver organized and detail-oriented cleaning services, laundry wash & fold services, and supply management, all infused with the warmth of the Aloha Spirit.
